European Waters
I spent October traveling all around Europe with the person(s) that are so close to my heart. Before I left, I found a couple of things. One of them was a random postcard that a stranger gave to me from one of my favorite bookstores in San Francisco. The message I will share the with you later. The second is a beautiful note from my father. Encouraging me to make lasting memories, and telling me how proud he was. I remembered who I was, my uniqueness, and my understanding of myself. I was surrounded by healthy people who all were doing amazing creative ventures while dealing with the hardships of life- but not one of them made it their story. We gave each other banter and all understood it was out of love. God, what a refreshing feeling to be surrounded by the ones I love so much. I miss California a lot, I miss my friends, and this made me remember how much more I have to give, and to not settle for what I thought was the world.
I will write more, but in the meantime here is a clip from a special friend just touching on a part of Europe that will forever have my heart, Lisboa.
Our European Waters, the same sea connects us.
